On Tuesday, Chen addressed her departure from the popular daytime talk show The Talk in a videotaped message to viewers.

"At the present time I have to invest more energy at home with my significant other and our young child," she said. "So I've chosen to leave The Talk."

"I know this show and the sisterhood it remains for will live on for some, numerous years to come," she finished up.
