But their real life was very painful. The actress married the famous filmmaker and writer Kamal Amrohi, but after marriage, she was just and sad only in her life. It is mentioned in the book 'Meena Kumari: The Classic Biography' based on Vinod Mehta's life on the life of Meena Kumari. At the age of 18, Meena secretly married 34-year-old Kamal Amrohi. The couple's marriage took place on February 14, 1952. After marriage, Amrohi allowed Meena Kumar to act but kept many conditions ahead of her. It is said that Amrohi used to suspect them very much, because of this the relationship between both of them got sour and in some years only the life of Meena Kumari got ruined. Successful in films, the real life of Meena Kumari was full of tribulations. After separating from Kamal Amrohi in 1964, he drowned in alcoholism.
